Representative Matters: - Represented a multi-national chemicals and mining conglomerate in a whistleblower action brought by an employee who alleged that she was harassed in retaliation for doing her job as an environmental manager
- Assisted with strategy for and represented multi-national mining company during negotiations and subsequent strike over employer's concessionary bargaining demands
- Defended an MSHA complaint based on claims of discrimination and retaliation
- Obtained a favorable ruling from the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and recovered expenses from the National Labor Relations Board. The Fourth Circuit, for the first time in twenty years, accepted our argument that a union representation election should be overturned because the union was responsible for hourly employees' conduct during the campaign at a large multi-state mining operation
