Amy Snell Auffant, Rob Capobianco, Rich Escoffery, Elliott Friedman, Suzanne Lehman, Josh Viau and Connie Walters were named Georgia Rising Stars by Law & Politics, which surveyed Georgia Super Lawyers to ask for nominations of the best up-and-coming attorneys they have personally observed in action.

Approximately 2.5 % of the best up-and-coming attorneys in Georgia were chosen by an attorney-led research team, which evaluated prospective candidates, taking into consideration, among other factors, peer recognition indicators and professional achievement. Only attorneys age 40 and under, or who have been practicing ten years or less, were eligible to be named Rising Stars.

The resultant list of Georgia Rising Stars will appear in a special advertising section in the October 2006 issue of Atlanta Magazine and in Georgia Super Lawyers- Rising Stars Edition magazine.
