MDCometti@TKBlaw.com Mario D. Cometti is of counsel to the firm of Tibbetts, Keating & Butler, LLC as a litigation specialist. For over two decades he has been involved in extensive trial work and appellate practice. His areas of speciality are commercial and personal litigation, ranging from Provider and Managed Healthcare issues to complex products liability lawsuits, both from a plaintiff and defense perspective. He also has extensive experience in Human Rights claims, such as sexual harassment, gender and racial discrimination in both State and Federal courts and filings with the EEOC and NYS Division of Human Rights. Finally, Mr. Cometti has appeared in courts all over the State of New York and Connecticut on matrimonial and Family Court Matters Mr. Cometti received his Juris Doctor from Tulane University in New Orleans, La. in 1991 (cum laude) and his undergraduate degree from Fordham University, Bronx, New York in 1987. Mr. Cometti is admitted to the bars of the State of Connecticut, Lousiana and New York. He is also admitted to practice in the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western New York Federal District Courts, the Vermont Federal District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. Mr. Cometti also has additional experience as a municpal attorney, specifically as the Village Attorney for the Village of Altamont, NY (2002-2005) and as the First Assistant Attorney, Greene County, NY (1992-1993).
